Entertainment Tonight

Entertainment Tonight needed to stand out in a crowded space by doing more than just reporting celebrity gossip.

The Problem:

Entertainment Tonight was falling behind in relevancy compared to other entertainment news outlets. Social channels were stagnant and even breaking news wasn't cutting through the noise.

Year:

2019

My Role:

Social Media Producer / Copywriter

As an avid entertainment fan, I joined ET on their dedicated social team to help breathe new life back into the legacy brand. I posted original content on Twitter and Instagram to engage an audience of 10M+; achieving 7.8M engagements per month and audience growth of 200k+.

I collaborated with ET broadcast, ET Online, and ET Live to identify key stories, achieving highest audience engagement during high-profile events including Teen Choice Awards, VMAs and Comic-Con.

In addition to daily reporting, I worked alongside networks like FOX, ABC, and CBS to garner excitement and break stories about upcoming media.

Through unique content series and celeb takeovers, I helped increase engagement by 200% across platforms through enhanced utilization of stories featuring celebrities including Megan Fox, Hilary Duff, and Alison Brie.
